We are La Ligne, Justin Loock and Gydo Knapen. We have seized the opportunity to realize our dream. In March 2020 we opened our own restaurant in Landgraaf! We have been working in the hospitality industry for years and now we will put our passion and experience into practice in our own restaurant.
The world is changing rapidly due to increasing globalization. By adding all kinds of ingredients from different continents, we give well-known dishes a tasty twist. We will also constantly look for ways to further refresh the menu so that our guests will discover something new every time they visit our restaurant.

We are Justin Loock and Gydo Knapen. Proud owners of the restaurant La Ligne. After gaining years of experience and becoming familiar with the catering industry, we thought it was time for a new challenge. We took the opportunity to realize our dream. As a team, we took up this challenge, with a lot of passion and love for the profession.
As a chef, I am responsible for preparing the food. My passion lay in cooking and good food. I knew already at a young age that I wanted to become a chef. After high school, I followed the independent cook training at the Arcus college in Heerlen. During my studies, I gained experience in various restaurants, including restaurant Infini and Landgoed Overste Hof. I have now gained over 5 years of work experience as a chef in various catering establishments. Now it is finally time to give our guests an unforgettable culinary evening in my own kitchen.
At La Ligne, I am the trait d'union between kitchen and table. I help the chef with the preparation and at the table, I am the man who helps you with the menu and advises you what wines fit best with our dishes. Via the hospitality employment agency Mise en Place, I ended up in the hospitality industry where the love for the profession developed. During this period I gained a lot of experience in various restaurants, such as restaurant Chateau Sint Gerlach. Together with Justin I look forward to our new adventure and hope to meet you soon in our restaurant La Ligne.
How do I reserve a table?
For reservations and questions, you can reach us by phone from Wednesday to Sunday from 1 p.m. Our restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please reach us at 045-7854224 to make a reservation. Of course, you can also send us an email at info@laligne.restaurant. Dietary requests and other requests can be mentioned in the reservation.
